Free Image Databases

    Hi,

    If you want to include images in your blog, where do you go for free images? Are there good sources?

    Also, are there places where we can subscribe for a reasonable fee and download images for free?

    I use public domain image websites such as Public Domain Photos. Doing a search on Google for Public Domain Photos will bring up more.

    Some of the paid microstock sites offer a selection of free photos. Fotolia is one. I don't know what you consider reasonable, but many of the sites offer subscriptions or discounts for purchasing a large number of credits. And if you only need a few lower-resolution photos, the prices are pretty reasonable.

    I copied the following list from www.microstockgroup.com, which is a forum for photographers. In the interest of full disclosure, I do have a few photos at two of these sites.
