I m relevantly very new to this bizness.
Last night i was surfing and found a website providing "Free Traffic".
All you have to do is to set their website as homepage and click members website and they will click on yours.
    But i m confused.
is it right way to drive traffic or not?
if not then what are other 150,000 members are doing?
    Thank You.

I believe these are auto-surf websites, the traffic is basically useless but you may get lucky and actually get a couple of clicks. I'd check with G to make sure it doesn't violate any TOS first.

    Ok according to TOS.
But i could not understand the phenomenon.
And in return they also demand you to visit other's website.
What is the net result? :s.
It will be a loop :d

    It's a simple exchange:
You visit others sites (and get credits for it) and then others visit your site. The problem with it is howeer that most people will not even look at the sites and just let them reload to get credits, so I don't think it would be worth using for anyone.

yes same thing i m doing.
    just clicking to get credit.
and i m sure in return other members doing same.
But point is that it is my first day and i found how odd is it.
then why other 150,000 members are not reaching to this conclusion :)
    Or there is something hidden?

The majority of them probably have and just stopped. There might be 150,000 total members, but I would imagine only a fraction of that number actively use it.

This is very cheap way to exchange traffic.
And of no use as well.
Yes waste of time and hopes. :d

build natural traffic. DO link exchanges, build your site, build quality content. Dont look for shortcuts.

These types of programs are a complete waste of time. You are new to this business, so I will give you a admonishment. Don't try to do things the easy way. In the webmaster world doing things the "easy way" typically don't get you very far and in some cases could get your site banned.

My advice to is to work hard and do things the tough way. It may not be easy, but it will pay off big in the long run. Nothing worthwhile ever comes easy. These types of "traffic" programs will bring you no affiliate customers, and you will be fortunate if you get any adsense clicks.

    Yes absolutely Correct.
    I don't hate hardwork.
But i was just trying to find out what is it.
Now i know because if i have tricks to get points same tricks other ppl have too.
Now my next plan is to go and write contents after some research ( local library ) on particular topic .
But one another question in my mind is how long i have to wait?

I have a different opinion on traffic exchanges. If you just post your homepage then click away, you will get usless visitors that don't care about your site. But if they are used correctly, they can be a great resource. You have to put yourself in the shoes of a traffic exchange user, then cater to them. If you're interested in details, pm me.

site can take one month or 1 year.... in my views hard work definitely necessory but luck counts much than hard work. i am business man ... investing in other sites and making money then i started some of my sites...some were in top just in days and some of them flop even i worked hard for them.

but at last nothing without both of these...hard work and luck :)

Traffic exchanges are good for 1 thing, to raise your Alexa Rating. But who cares about that.

If you are using them to promote your website then you are wasting your time.

    Now last question.
I know it is waste of time.
But one thing that i have noted is that traffic is not blind.
    It has some rules .e.g
member cannot visit same website twice in 24 hours.
member can view websites which are in the category which member has selected.
Website support is not accepting websites blindly. They are visiting it and try to match their text with content in website link provided (somewhat like Overture).

Does this kind of traffic exchange violate TOS of Adsense?
**I have not any plan to go with them because it will eat my time of building contents.I just want to have knowledge about this heck :)

Traffic exchange is a waste of time. It's only useful if you want to promote another "get-traffic-quick" scheme because users of these methods are usually newbie webmasters. Remember "easy comes, easy goes".
