    I would go for Kompozer and you can try a good one called Bluegriffon (which is based in Kompozer).

    If you are editing whole projects, I would go for Netbeans for PHP (which includes CSS editor, javascript editor and html editor).

    And Notepad ++ if you know some HTML and want to make some small changes.

    when using notepad++ i am at lost as to how to check my edits and see what they look like in the browser. I copy/paste the code into the program under new, make the changes and the hit run tab and nothing comes up..... can i get some assistance ?

    Ok, thanks for the responses.... however, when i go to edit the actual text edits show up when I run it in notepad++ but the images do not show up....which folder do i edit in in order to see a full example of my edits?
