    Hello,

After a friend pointed out a load of errors on my page I've realised that I need a spell checker.

Could anyone recommend a free piece of software that will understand my html and check for spelling and grammar?

    I use Windows XP.

    Regards,

    fcmisc.

One way to do it would be to write your content in Word (or similar) first and then cut and paste.

What that will do is add in a whole lot of unnecessarily complex formatting. If you want to do it that way, paste to Notepad first to remive the formatting and then re-copy to the destination editor.

Crimson Editor has a built in spell-checker -- it's also freeware.

Thanks Minstrel. Crimson is what I'm currently using, but I'm on an old version, and your link shows me that the newer one has a spell checker.

    Good stuff!

    Good point.

I was looking at it from my own method of using Notepad for writing up the HTML, and completely ignored WYSIWYG users.
