I have googled the sentence but all results are pointing to tinypc, photoshak, etc do u know a host provider, which allows image hosting websites? I will put a logo or link back to the host provider if necessary
None that I know of. And honestly I feel that no one should as well. You are better off with a cheap VPS.
The problem with image hosting is the bandwidth use, and too much hotlinking can put a heavy strain on the server resources, that's why you'll have a difficult time pulling this off in a shared hosting environment, let alone trying to do it on a free host. Probably need to pony up some cash if you want to have an image hosting site that will get anywhere
you can try 000webhoshing. it provide 1.5 GB web space and you can do everything as other buying web hosting. And it is't necessary. to insert favicon.
there is no special requirement for an image hosting websites, except that they become bandwidth hog once they become popular. you might start with a free hosting, but will have eventually to upgrade once things picked up
To put it bluntly, no. Even if you were to find one, your site would probably either be A.) very slow or B.) flooded with ad and very slow. Even on a solid paid host you are going to have problems running an image hosting website (not only for DMCA reasons), but also the potential for the site outgrowing its enviroment very quickly.
thanks all, specially Teedager for recommending that 7 type thing host, but 50 MB WebSpace is nothing for a free image host right ?! well I know all about that but didnt like to invest money on a new website since I am running one and almost making nothing out of it :d about that free host called 000webhost they dont accept website giving out services like free upload, etc
if you are placing a bandwidth problem may be you should try this new image hosting website deffe.com is the best in its niche right for now , hope it helps you
bangimage.com is a free image hosting service that allows you to easily upload and share photos on social networks, post on blogs, create galleries. Maximum file size up to 128Mb per file.
There are a few shared hosts which do allow this, although a lowend VPS may suit your needs better. No free host is going to allow this because of 1. Resource usage(CPU) 2. Bandwidth Use. 3. Diskspace Use. If you really are on a budget you should create a thread in this forum stating the price you are prepared to pay and the diskspace and bandwidth which you want. You should mention what you plan on using the hosting for.
http://www.scarabweb.com/ is the best solution I think, ideal for image hosting, 24\7 support, best prices, 99,9 uptime
You can try Uploadly. The reason I am recommending this as it provides free hosting for photos and video both with unlimited storage and easy to use. I hope this helps.
