Okay, so yesturday I went to about 3 gaming forums and posted my ideas for a free hosting service for gamers. I provided no link, only I said Iwas from another popular gaming forum. I think that might have been the problem. One post was removed because it was 'spam', because they too offer free hosting that wouldn't have been half as good and is currently closed to new registrations. The other two are just gone Now the idea was for free, cpanel, automatic hosting with domain option if you want it automatically for all gamers. I've seen sites with tons of ads, preconcieved templates, slow loading, etc. This would basically be normally paid for hosting, but for free. Again, we would stick to the gamer niche. At this point in time, everything will be free and if you sign up as afree, you stay free, but my question is, if I can't even get INFORMATION from these other gaming forums, how the hell am I ever going to get this feature of ours promoted? It's a free service as it is, I won't be able to spend any more money advertising, thats not the point of what i'm trying to accomplish. I try to offer a service to people and it gets thrown in the dark. I don't even know if I should bother with it now, but half of me tells me just to get it to throw the rest it in their faces in a month or two once it is larger than theres
