Hello, sorry for posting here, but I can't post in freebies section.

I have a free byethost account for my forum, that allows me to have a 50 mb mysql database, I have seen others free hosts that only allow even less, my question is:

Which free host allows the biggest mysql database?

    Thank you all.

    Hi.

I personally would recommend you not to use these Free hosting as well as Shared Hosting which is nothing but just overselling. If you have big MySQL database, I would like to recommend you to get decent vps from any decent hosting. yeah, It will be costly, but it worth.

    Regards

Hello mate, yes I know that free servers suck, but I just started my forum, my mysql database is now 3mb, byethost allows 50mb, I red that 000webhost are part of byethost but allow unlimited msyl database, do you know if they are any good?

Later I'll get one good paid server, but for now I want to see if the forum is worth it.

    Cheers.

I think, no one will allow you to host big databases, even many shared hosting has limited DB size to just around 250MB.

Anyway, freewebspace forum, can help you.

Well if byethost gives you no trouble then keep it there still your forum grow to the Limit. mean while find few advertisers who will to give you ads for your site. Lets say 1$ per month ads. Then buy Godaddy economy package it would cost you around only 5$. They are good and will be find till your forum becoming really big. at least medium size.
not even most paid shared hosting providers like to keep active forums. Because they take lot of server resources. I have being though this and this is the solution I have come up with. So far it has worked fine.
