Free graphing software for tree-like structure in link building?

    Hello,

Let me start with the short version:

I need a software recommendation that can do flow charts like a computer analyst might use, or a person might use to represent a corporate hierarchy.

This is what I need it for:
I just started getting serious about link building this week. To simply state my understanding of link building, 'two-way links are bad and a tree like structure with your main site at the root is good'.

    The organizational challenge ...
So, the organizational challenge that I face in building this tree-like structure is two parts:
    1) I only want my links to link to my site,
...or link to links that link to my site, or
......or link to links, that link to links, that link to my site, :p
    .........etc.
So I don't want to make the mistake of turning any of these into reciprocating links or three way links.
    2) I might wind up with several blogs, squidoo pages, etc. that all have different URLs, username, passwords, etc. that I need to keep track of. I started doing this in Excel, but I don't like my system.

Need a software recommendation and/or general link-organization tips...
So, I think what would be ideal for me to stay organized would be some kind of graph system that can do a tree structure. Basically, I need graphing software that can do a flow chart. Also, any tips regarding how you keep track of all your links would be appreciated as well.

    Thanks,
    RogerDodger

Not sure if this is exactly what you want, but i've been using this to set up some linking structures and it works pretty well. I've seen some really complex stuff with it, so who knows. Plus, it's free.

Thanks webTarded. That seems to be exactly what I asked for. I downloaded StarUML, an open source software, in the mean time but I intend to check that out too.

    Thanks.:)
