    Hi loyalmasrt,
1> Avoid too much of FFA links, If interested in Google.
2> Your BLs should have all kind of flavours. From PR0 to PR9 or PR10. But having BLs only from pages with PR6 or more, can penalize you by Google.
3> You should have BLs on a page with less number of outgoing links. But no one will put only your's site link on their links page. Sometimes you have to compromise. But you can have a BL on a page with 10-20 links and with a PR more than 5. This will certainly help you.
PS: Dont worry too much about any Page's PR on which there is your link.
Just concentrate on gaining quality backlinks for your site.
    !!! Enjoy !!!

I wouldn't add my link to such a page. FFA pages carries very little or no weight with google. Same as Guestbook links, worthless.

The link will also be on a page that has nothing to do with your site, totally of topic so why bother?

    Make a backlink mix :
big PR, small PR, pages with lot outgoing links (not more than 20), relevant sites ...

As they say, variety is the spice of life. You should mix up your links, different prs, etc.

He's right, they won't benifit you at all. If 20% of your backlinks are FFA pages, Google will notice that.

I am Building a tech link directory. This is free for all. However, not like usual FFA link directories. Most important thing is the description. I prefer if visitor can submit a site with a big description about more than 200 words. I know doing this won’t penalize a site and link will give maximum because it is not just a link. There is always a full-length description about the link. This is what I believe… Correct me if I am wrong…

    Thanks in advice.
