    Hi,

If you do some only business with GBP like I do, then you must be losing a lot of money due to falling GBP.

I always have to exchange GBP for USD and the current rates suck.

Will the GBP ever be back to USD 1.7+ ?

Who knows?! I remember when the dollar was 1 GBP:1.42 US and being p*ssed when it began sliding as it diminished my revenues from ads, then being happy when it went to 1.92 because it meant I had more buying power for the GBP. Swings and roundabouts I guess...

Yes, bound to be, because the USD will certainly weaken again at some point. Certainly to 1.7 against the pound, maybe even back to 1.9/2.0. The big question is when. (Meanwhile those of us in the UK who are earning in USD are not complaining at the moment. Not so good for those doing the opposite, though.)

I remember at one time, it was like 1 GBP for 2 USD and when I see the current value right now, it must be really shocking. I mean the fall was like so rapid. That is the kind of volatility you would expect from foreign exchange.
