To me there is too much white space in the header and the header is too big. The side bar has a bulky feel to it as well. Lastly the site has a scroll bar on a full screen monitor running 1024x768. As far as the layout goes, I think it is fine and will work. The content is hard to comment on as they are only articles. Most people post articles for two reasons: first is to advertise / get back links, and second is to have people look at them as an authority. With this I would work on getting back links yourself and upping your pr. It appears to me your site's philosophy is create an account here, then post an article on a different site, and it will automatically be posted here as well, giving you a back link. With this being the only reason a person would join your site, pr becomes very important, and without it your sales pitch is dead. I may be wrong, but that is the way it is coming across to me.

From articles site you may advertise / get back links to increase your sales, while another benefit is the adsense revenue. I don't find other articles site which you may share the adsense earning from it.
