Free Entry into Searchen

    Are your sites listed with Searchen?

    Got a few good sites for our directory? We'd be more than happy to except your sites into our directory.....

    Now this isn't an invitation to spam the directory becasue if the site isn't good, more than likely it will not get in, but we still have plenty of catagories that are empty and if your site belongs there, we'd love to have you....

    If you want to become a catagory editor, please do so with care.... The better the sites are and the cleaner the directory is the more fun for everyone...

    Is the Searchen directory new? Because the PR indicator seems to be greyed out in all the categories I have checked.

    I'm pretty sure it has been around for a while. Personally I think it is one of the best designed search/directories out there. Nice design, very well organized and great soft colors. Great work!

    If your using the old version of the Google toolbar the catagories will be grayed out...

    If you are using the new version of the toolbar you will see PR on the catagory pages....

    Google seems to have addressed the perameter issue and PR display on the newer version of the toolbar....

    The site isn't brand new, but it is far from being what I am setting out to make it... Alot of time, work, and moola has gone into it and I will continue to work on it.... Only time will tell what is to come for the searchen search engine. As we all know, making something like this a serious site is one of the most difficult tasks a developer can face.....

    Todays new additions will be reviewed by tomorrow morning....

    Your theme (colors, fonts) are very user friendly. I submitted 3 different web sites, and the submission page was fast and easy to use. Nice directory.

    Did you create the code for the directory? I created one for myself back in January and have put a lot of hours in it (and still pumping more hours into it).

    I just realized I made an error on the url of one of the sites I submitted. It was www.fruit-resources.info and should have beenwww.fruitresources.info
    Hopefully you can correct it.

    Dear clasione :) ! Your Site so quite with nature friendly! but why U get only 26 words for submitting TITLe. I thought U allow submit about 37 words for submit title??? I hope u hear me ;)

    I avoiding rediculously long titles.... If I do not put a limit on it, you should see how long people try to make there title... It's rediculous...

    I should actually just allow site name for title, but am leeting the descriptive titles in ...

    I see that all the time, too - people think they can write whole essays of search terms and expect to get a listing with that.

    Can't blame them for trying, though!

    There has been plenty of times where I would delete 10 or 20 of them in a row from the same IP address.....

    Kinda makes me feel bad for all the time it took to right them out, but they should really know better....

    You would hope that they have it somewhere on their computers and just copy and paste... if not, then it's their own loss, I suppose.
