    Can i open Free ebook website?
    i know there are thousands of free ebook site but i am asking because first i had started free ebook blog for testing and before some days i got mail from Blogger about DMCA takedown notification
    John Wiley & Sons Report on my Blog for Copyright ebooks i am giving free.
    So they delete many post from my Blog.

    Now i am Directly Coming to the Point:
    After Creating Free ebook site any company can do Copyright case on Me?:confused:
    Will i am in Truble in Future? or there is any way
    Please give me proper Suggestion about Copyright?
    I have to take any kind of permission?
    If anyone have free ebook site so please tell me something what to do?

    do you have legal rights to offer those books for free? I assume you didn't write them. Have you bought full rights to distribute those books from each author? You need written permission from everybody. If you don't, you are infringing their copyright and you might end up having to pay for every copy that was ever downloaded from your website (and not just the price...the laws in many countries state that the compensation can be many times higher then the actual cost) + jail time.

    All the ebooks you are displaying aren't free. What made you think that? It is hacked crap. Of course they can sue the hell out of you.

    damn a friend of mine was about to do the same thing . this is gr8 information. now what about the books that dont have copyright on them. it shows either inside of the book or in (properties) or is there another part that im not aware of ?

    Unless a book is in the public domain, someone owns a copyright. It does NOT need to show a copyright notice.

    If you didn't write it yourself, don't assume that you have the right to republish it. That goes for ebooks, PLR articles, photos, artwork and just about anything with a creative element to it.

    free ebook site can only get in trouble if you are stealing others work and so forth...
