The domain you gave me has been taken back by the previous owner-I dont know if they are referring to you or not?
This is the message I received from Godaddy-
"The previous registrant of THACHANACITY.ORG has disputed the changes made to the domain names. After investigating, the registration has been reverted to the former registrant."
Besides the time i have spent creating an arcade, manually adding games,and ordering a custom logo-I have also done a few blogroll link exchanges with other DP members-so basically this has dropped me in the shit
Please advise

 

The same thing happen with domain GayleenAndChris.com which you decided to give me. Here's the message from godaddy :

The previous registrant of GAYLEENANDCHRIS.COM has disputed the changes made to the domain name. After investigating, the registration has been reverted to the former registrant.

Any further dispute over the registration of the domain name will need to be sent either to the registrant, through an ICANN-approved arbitration provider (http://www.icann.org/dndr/udrp/approved-providers.htm) or the court system. Please be assured that if we receive notice of a pending legal dispute we will lock the name so that it cannot be transferred or otherwise modified. Likewise, when we receive a decision we will update the name accordingly. If you file a dispute concerning the domain name, please forward a copy to .

Lucky for me, I haven't set any site on the domain but it would be very nice if Pingler.com can explain what's really happened.
Anyway, I changed my sig back as the domain is no longer mine.

I personally don't know what happened exactly - Godaddy took the remaining domains from my own account as well, without any notice or contact.

I believe either the scammer contacted Godaddy and filed a dispute which for some absurd reason Godaddy found it in his favour without even giving any of us a chance to explain, or the domains were scammed in the first place and the scammer sold them on and the previous owners contacted Godaddy who gave them their domains back.

While I know the situation is frustrating to say the least, it was never my intention to cause anyone any inconvenience or loss and had I known this was a possibility I would not even have given away the domains for free in the first place.

I received a couple of extremely spiteful messages and I wish people remember that the domains were given away for free and anyone who thinks that I would intentionally do it to harm them or hurt them or risk my reputation is insane. I never imagined this might happen and had I known I would definitely not have given any of the domains away.

This is all I have to say about this subject, I have made the situation and my position very clear. If anyone wants to discuss this further, please take it up with Godaddy, I have nothing else to add. Thank you.

Can I ask how you were scammed on Flippa? If you bought 47 domains and got them, then got your money back and are now giving away those domains, how are you the one who got scammed?

And to everyone who got the domains taken away from them, come on, be smart. Something that's usually too good to be true, is! A guy comes on and gives away 47 PR3 domains? Sounds VERY fishy.

 

Boxer126 - can YOU please answer why and how come you are being so adamant for an answer by posting in the thread and also pm'ing me directly bearing in mind that you did not even ask for a domain or were given a domain in the first place?

What are you trying to prove?

Furthermore, you already jumped to your conclusions describing the affair as 'fishy' bringing my credibility and integrity into question, so really what is the point in me even replying to you since you found me 'guilty' already?

Can YOU answer me and tell me what I would have gained from this 'fishy' deal? Surely if I was up to no good, there must be something for me to gain - what was I to gain, besides getting some avatars and sig links, which I could easily have afforded to buy anyway?
