Does anyone know of any that are available. Want to create a test version of a project I plan on creating.

Co.cc which I have used in the past doesn't seem to work anymore.

Did you try Dot.Tk? Also you can try to use free sub-domain from freedns.afraid.org as well.

You can use .tk as free domain.
But I recommend you to go with paid .com domain name

Unfortunately they don't allow you to point their domains to nameservers. They are only really for redirecting elsewhere. Thanks anyway

.tk don't really like inactivity, but it may be good short term. Thanks. :)

@op, I know its not what you are looking for, but here is what I do when developing something. I just grabbed the domain i wanted, and put a subdomain (dev.domainnameexample.com) And from cpanel put a password lock on the directory.
If you already have a domain name, that might be a suitable option for you to try.
