FREE Domain and Hosting???

There is a great risk involved in going with free hosting specially. Not at all reliable and there is no way to trace back your issue on it.

Paid hosting is a great way to promote your cause/business on web and earn handsome profit, you get a number of free services with a paid hosting which is great.

 

Yes. I agree with you serversea. There is really not much we can expect from free web hosting.

 

I think most people using these because don't have enought money for better and domain...

 

.com is considered as the most valuable one except some very short and special domains(fb.com or 131500.com)

 

Simply because they do not want to waste a single penny. Of course, for small e-businesses and starters, it is difficult to invest a lot with domains. Especially when you start from scratch.

 

These free hosting sites are pretty useless as a primary site. However in the short term they might be useful for newbies to practice their skills so that they can then use those skills on a proper Wordpress site. However I agree that just having one of these free hosting sites is just dabbling

 

I've used www-000webhost-com for free hosting

cheap .com domains ... Globat -- $3.99 (www-domainsarefree-com/) and Netfirms $4.95 (Promo code: Promo495)

I've used both. Globat only let's you do one at $3.99 and Netfirms let's you do 5 per promo code. You could of course create multiple accounts.

 

There are very much free hosting and domain providers but always go for paid ones.They are very reliable and better

 

Not to brag but I never pay for domains or hosting.I get it for free.

 

Would you care to tell how? There are plenty of free hosting options and free domains with paid hosting. I've never seen BOTH for free.

My experience with free hosting is that "you get what you pay for"....it's never very good unless you have a small site with no traffic. Even then there is little or no support and they tend to have more outages due to hackers and other technical issues.
