Hi all. I am fairly new to the forum. So sorry if this post is in the wrong place. I will jump straight to the point. Im not one for stringing things out. You are probably sick of trying to find good dofollow blogs and sites. I know I was. Every list seems to be horribly out dated. So I decided to fix this issue by creating a dofollow blog checker Dofollow Checker The checker is pertty simple, you enter the url in question, wait a few moments and it gives you some info about the site; % chance it is dofollow keywordluv present or not commentluv present or not disqus commenting or not livefyre commenting or not The checker is still in the testing phase and I need people to throw as many urls at it as they can. If it finds a blog that it is unable to detect comments on it will save the url for me to check later. I have already tested it on a few hundred sites and it now works on 80% of sites. dofollow checker
Hey! Well this looks very nice, thanks. I've tried it for fun, and it seems to actually try to give good useful info, the only problem is that even for big known blogs it shows nothing in the comments etc section, only the follow-nofollow line "works"
Thanks for giving it a test. There are a few known issues, all of which stem from the almost infinite number of ways to code a user comments and the child links. The system is currently heavily coded towards wordpress sites. I am adding coding as and when I find sites that dont work on the checker. If the system can not detect a comment that it returns false. Ill keep working on it
This is a pretty cool program you got here, I just suggest, you find a way to speed it up, that would help a TON.
Yeah Im working on the speed. There are a few issues there though: - info is pulled from number of sources while info is being pulled from the site being searched (30 queries in total - makes it slow) - it is currently sat on a slow server, moving it soon If anyone has any suggestions, I would love some more feedback.
Your very welcome. Please let me know if you have any issues with it, or if you would like to see any other features
