Well, it does start out on the home page and does get move... My bad, but yea it is a free do follow link and an opportunity to promote your website or whatever.

There is also a potential beyond just a link. After all they allow you to tell your story so it might be useful to generate some business and it doesn't hurt for branding if that's important... Good luck.
