Is there a free directory script that has or cn have Paypal implemented easily to charge people for links?

I have been searching but haven't come across anything.

    phpLD really recommended.
I'm using 3.x version now but 2.x is the best Free available Directory script in my opinion.

Thanks a bunch!! I had no idea phpld had a free directory. Silly me. Do any of you still use it for your directories and how does it compare to PHPLD3?

Your going to get a fairly wide set of views here most pointing you to phpld as it has a big fan base, but my honest advice is to make your own mind up.

Feature wise phpld is actually one of the weakest 'out of the box' scripts around even if it is one of the most widely used, and that's a fact. Go for phplynx is my advice, take a look at the features the free one has got and compare them to ANY of the free scripts out there, certainly the ones pointed out to you already and none of them can hold a candle to them.

Don't take our words for it on script look at the facts and make your own mind up. Features comparison

I'm going to make a comparison for other scripts as this one only goes up against phpld and there's no competition. But if you do your own comparison you'll see that I'm probably right. :)

The best I have found, and I have tried a few, is esyndicat.com there is a good free version, accepts paypal as standard, great support forum, in my humble opinion the best

I went over to the esyndicat support forum for a nose after seeing this and see an awful lot of bug reporting with both versions, sad really. :(
