Free Directory Script - please help. :)

I'd like to find a free directory script to add to my website.

I know that I can find many simply by using any search engine, but I prefer to be referred to scripts by people who already have experience using them.

I'd just like users to be able to submit their China-related blogs to my website's directory. If the directory could also have a couple of features like most recently added/updated and so on that would be cool, but it's not necessarily a requirement.

Thank you in advance to anyone willing to help me.

Oh, and if I need to provide some more details, just let me know. ;)

    Thank you hotpop and gkd_uk.

The linkbidscript and phpld both look fine. The main problem for me though, is that those directories seem to mainly be for links that pass PR or whatever and not really for traffic. The reason I say this is because it's not that easy or convenient to search the directories - at least that's my conclusion from the demos I saw.

If possible, I'd like users to be able to easily filter their search results. Maybe using drop down boxes to select the location, the category, the list order, how many results to display per page and so on. The purpose of my directory is not to make money, but actually be a place to find something interesting to read about life in China depending on what you are looking for. Maybe someone is going to visit a city and they'd like to read about someone else's experiences there. They can then come to my directory and set the search filter to only look for results in that city and also about whatever topic they are interested in. For my needs, searching only using keywords is not sufficient. The filtering option really seems like a better solution to me.

Maybe I didn't have an in-depth look at the scripts mentioned in this thread so far, but they don't seem quite capable of exactly what I am looking for. Haha, and also listings in my directory are all free. :p
