Free directory -> Paid directory | What it needs to be paid ?

My question is, what are those abilities/stats a directory should have to make (working) paid directory of it ?

If my directory can make PR6 at next update, I want to make a paid dir of it, but what else is it need to make webmasters pay for their submissions ?

Unique description for the listings, which can attract traffic from se's.

 

What you need is to have a real directory and not a dropped domain with pr with a script on it!

 

you should add a deeplink feature in your directory for your featured listings.....and also try to add article section this will also help you alot

 

Can you explain what do you mean ? I mean, what makes a directory "real" ?

Basicaly is to have gain your pr as a directory with backlinks that refering and pointing to a web directory and not to a previous apple related websites or whatever your pr5 site is!

 

Deep link feature can convince webmaster to pay for their submission. You maybe wait your inner page has more PR like PR3-5 and then turn your directory to paid type.
