Free Directory Links : Google Treat as Spam

    Notice it and analysis about free directory when submit website links and some directory approve it but all back links account as spam Google authenticate directory is very few that are paid and only dmoz is free so how can we submit links in spam less directory

    That's correct. Because those links are really spam. I have some premium paid directories. I approve about 1 link a month on each directory. One of my 6 years old directory has about 300 links in total while many fresh free directories have thousands of links. Stay away from free stuff. Free links can hurt your rankings.

    Directories usually are having too much links so google don't get which to index and which not to, for this directory need to be of good quality.

    other wise it don't worth submitting.

    Agree. why do people still bother to do directory submissions when hardly any free directories are not crap. Submit to paid directories if you can otherwise just leave it. There are lots of other ways to generate quality links where you can spend your precious time saved from submitting to these free directories.

    Spam directories si the one that don't have moderation. So it is like link farm.

    You know what .. free directories are flooded with external links as they are free, so many people put link their. So google thinks they are link farms and treat your link as spam, while it is opposite in paid directories, not too many peoples pay for link so these directories contains less number of links and google doesn't think as link farms.

    Directories are great for new blogs, as they help google to discover your site by linking and your site gets quickly into search results. They doesn't help you to increase your SEO value at all. If Your blog is old and google is crawling your site regularly then your must not use directories for getting links, instead of do some article marketing, guest posting to get backlinks and this is gonna help you get some good rank in Search Result.

    TIP : You must try submitting articles to ezinarticles. because they have a premium adsense account and I think google don't count links from that site as spam. You are allowed to put 1 or 2 links in article their. it works.

    Yes, this is a good method. Search for free directories in your niche to see if there are any. Ones that are good focus on free valuable content in that niche. Though free, it should still be moderated.
