FREE Directories that ACTUALLY LIST YOU ... and LIST YOU QUICK

Hi all!

I started link building about 8 months ago for my blog... and started with directories ..... I submitted my real estate brokerage link to around 75-100 directories.... and only 2 listed me:

Does anyone know any NON-RECIPROCAL directories.... that actually add you on right away, and dont play around..... even if they are PR0 that is ok


I want to submit to more link directories.... but its a huge waste of time since mostly all do not list yu

Check my sig for a list of free directories. Use the search on the site to narrow the list by "review time" to find the ones that review quickly. Hope this helps.

 

I think directorycritic.com has a list that is sorted by user feedback
might want to take a look at those

 

Lists of such directories are always problematic. They're often entirely subjective, and it changes very quickly, especially if an editor leaves or a directory changes hands. New, undiscovered directories are usually quick to add sites to begin with, and older directories tend to be slower as more sites get submitted.

When it comes to editing, it's always the borderline submissions that take the longest to review. Make sure your site isn't borderline before submitting it to directories, so you're not in this group. This means having a unique design, no typos, and enough unique content to keep visitors occupied for hours and hours if it's an information site.

somuch is fast approval, linkcentre and exactseek are auto approval.

 

Xigre.com approves very fast and free. There is even competition on the way

 

Some of these sigs are really useful. Obelia, I've just joined your freelance writing forum.
To get to the point, I always look out for directories which have articles on them, and have considered submitting an article to them. I wonder which is the best market, an article in a directory, the kind we are talking about here, or an article in an article directory.

 

it is totally annoying spending days submitting to endless directorys with only a small percentage getting reviewed i think it must be a ploy to get you to pay for a fast listing

Great points. I would add to Obelia's comments by suggesting that it could be a case of what is being submitted, rather than where.

In addition to ensuring that your site itself covers Obelia's points, I would also ensure that the information (description, site titles, etc) that you are submitting along with your site is also adhering to the generally accepted guidelines of submitting to directories. If you aren't adhering to directory guidelines, then your site could be an easy rejection.

 

I run skydir.ca a free general directory pr0 with no recip. I always approve within 24 hours. assuming it's not spam or a crap content site. Hope you submit!!

 

depends if webmaster is free enough and on the number of websites he's currently running. Sometimes directories even new ones get a huuuuge amount of subscriptions, most of them crap and we have to approve only quality websites, with good content.
