Free Directories = SPAM! True or False?

not all free directory spam....

i build free directory and i know what people think about that....

the reason i build free directory :-

- For fun and learning scripts, of course i new for this industry and need more experience....

i hate when people selling they poor directory (database dump, buy PR domain, and much more that we can find hire).... and that's what i call money spam

not all free directory spam, please take a look the niche...

i build free blog directory, and i know not all bloggers have a good revenue from they blog, so i give it for free... and i will give the best for review them, if i found they are spammers i will reject it.....

Those are only two best reasons.

 

No one pays for a review from a PR 0 directory...(no one that I know) ...This being said, most are free while in the infancy stages. Few stay free but most that survive all the long hard hours of editing, promoting and zero profits will most likely go paid at some point in the future to earn income like other types of sites. Also an advantage to Free Directories is, eventually the directory will be listed every where on the Internet in someones list of places to gain back links.

Besides most that are free have little experience in promoting or keeping the directory of a quality state...therefore are forced to free weather they like it or not.

I am sure there are many reasons for free, for most the above statement applies

 

Totally agree Malcolm. This should have been added to the poll and it could well be a winner there!
