Free directories list?

Looking for a nice list of 1000 plus directories which are free, i know theres quite a few but Google didn`t bring up much. Help appreciated

I do not think there is so many free directory, i find many directory changed free to pay

 

here's my 5000+. They are in order for pr as well.

Not much traffic. They give you links and a good PR if you do enough, which in time helps your search engine rankings to get a lot of traffic.

In other words. YES, they do.

 

Thanks for a useful list. The first page alone contained a numbers of directories that I have never heard of before.

 

Hello...

We just went threw a few "Free lists" and handpicked and updated our Free Directory Submission List

with directories that we thought already stood the test of time (remaining free after 1 year )
as well as didnt include directories that had 5000+ links in their pending status or that required
reciprocal backlinks and still considered worth submitting to as well offers some stats on them.

Note: Directory stats are updated monthly

If you are looking for "Bid Directories" then bidilicious is a good start

There was a post quite a while back about a directory submission site which I use, and can't say enough about it! It's only like $4 and you can put your information in 1 time and upload to over 2,000 directories, but you can only submit 9 at a time, but it is still less time consuming than to manually do each one. They have a free Trial which you can see how it works before you buy, and you can also chose what PR of the directories you want to submit to. It is at http://www.resellergo.com
