Free directories for link exposure

Hello
I'm currently carrying out manual submissions into web directories and for every ten i visit, nine of them waste my time before asking for a credit card.

Does anyone have a list or some information on directories that are happy to recieve inclusion without the price tag.

With the best will in the world forget about manual Directories. Get something like submiteaze and rattle through the sites that say one way free link and then forget aboiut it

 

Personally I hate free directory submissions. I've never had any thing come out of it besides wasting time and money by paying others to do large submissions. I personally prefer hard work of going out and getting high quality links on sites that completely match the site that I am link building for.

 

But directory submit really bring you traffice and get your posts or products indexed.
