I want to advertise my dating site more. I do use adwords but sometimes my funds run out and I don't use it for a few weeks until I put more cash in. I was thinking of hitting the city I live in with flyers and posters. Has anybody done this before, does it work ok or don't bother? Thanks for all your input.
This should work. Offline advertising is quite good if you use local dating site, or you have some extra features which may be interesting for daters. Besides you may try some cheaper PPC systems, for keeping your traffic on the same line.
It depends on where you are going to distribute all the flyers. Colleges, offices and night clubs are probably the best places. I won't think door-to-door distribution will work though.
Put 'Invite a friend' button on your website so member can invite their friends to join, it's effective plus free marketing
