    Hey guys,

Just bought myself a VPS and wanted to know if there are any free control panels out there like cPanel, that I can install on it?

    Thank you!

    Kloxo and Webmin.
My First Choice is Kloxo! :)

I prefer Webmin, has been around a lot longer and is much more secure and stable. Plus Webmin is non-intrusive with plugin-modules, while as Kloxo "suggests" you use what it supports.

Kloxo would be the preferred option as it's easier to use or you could use ispCP omega

You can find huge number of free to use control panel if you search Google, i recommend webmin or OpenPanel but cpanel is the best paid option which have more features and is widely used. control panel for a VPS won't cost you a fortune ;)

Have you ever heard ZPanelCP? You can try it as well, pretty much like cPanel but it's free. :)

Why did not you purchase Managed VPS? With managed vps you need not to worry about cpanel etc

if you have CentOS install kloxo, its free, and open source, meaning " you can edit the code, branch of and remake the full control panel "

if you use ubuntu, you could try VHCS, EHCP ...

    hope these help :)

cPanel is stable and easy to use. It is an addon feature with many hosts but well worth it for the features and support.

That is true instead of getting the free version of cPanel and why not get it as addon features from your provider.
Besides that, @private_html which copy from famous forumer public_html, please behave yourself. Providing solution is the main responsibility from a host, as if you expect OP ask A and host answer A then you are in wrong section. Go and upsell yourself, poor kiddos.

Kloxo is better than Webmin IMO but they both have user interfaces that pale in comparison to Cpanel.

OpenPanel is a free open source control panel. It has lots of functionality, an attractive interface and is very user friendly.
