Free Contests Website

Hello, I've got a website up and running with some ppc traffic going to it. The response rate is quite good, I get between 5-10 new members a day out of approx 80-100 visitors a day.

I'd really like some reviews of the website thus far though - in particular the forums. There are some new features I've yet to release for the site, but the forum, I just can't seem to think of any more categories for topics.

As well, what kind of features and tools do you think would be beneficial?

    The website is http://www.free-contests.net
    All suggestions and criticisms welcome!

Thanks for the review. Any comments on what I can improve or any ideas on what categories I can add to the forum?

Nice website. Unfortunatly no contests are avaliable for my countrey. :D
Maybe you should add your website to few directories.

Do you want link exchange with my website www.prizecontests.net?
We have many sweepstakes listed, but we will switch to contests where the skill is important to win. So we aren't competitors.
Please let me now if you are interested.
    Thanks!

Although bland, the colours work well. 5 signups a day is not bad. I did three searched, "Israel", "beer", and "love", and all three came back with no results. That means that you need to add content.

Thanks for the opinion. It's true, there's not much content yet - actually the search function I put up there is logged and let's me see what users that get to the website are interested in (nice little way into the viewers mind). Gives me ideas for future content.

Hey, nice start to your site. I'm actually considering getting a "More Free Stuff" page up. PM me with the details and I'll add you.

Yeah that looks not half bad actually. I've been differing whether or not to blend it. I can't stand having a forum all jammed in to a smaller website frame and I have the site optimized to start at 800x600 for compatibility reasons.

I do agree with your suggestion though, it would look better with the forum blended to the website. Thanks!

Thanks, your right I am using Joomla, makes implementing a new site so quick and easy.

Thanks a lot, seems a lot of other people like the idea too, I'm getting tons of sign ups! :)

Now if I can just get my list component completed...

This site is a neat idea. Maybe have a mainpage call out for submitting contests. Hmmm...are there still fantasy stock market contests on the internet? I remember entering those back in the day. Maybe a potential category?

    Good looking site?

Make the background of UK CONTEST LIST height same as the others nest to it.

    Good luck.

Yup, you're right, I've done some work on that now, also I wrapped the forum to make it feel like more of the main website.

Thanks for the ideas, I've got abit of a blurb about submitting contests on the main page but you've given me more ideas for adding some further links in the user menu for submitting contests on the forum.

As for the fantasy stock market stuff, that really doesn't fit into the theme of my site too well, I'm more looking for the real life contests that bring money to people... thanks again for your ideas though!
