Register.com used to have a $200 transfer fee. Do not know - maybe they still do. They also have expensive renewals. .Com domains cost the registrars about $6.65 each. Then they have overhead and other costs. If they are offering domains for free then they surely will have some other way to make a profit from you, don't you think???

I don't understand what you are trying to say. Why are you asking people to tell how to do it when you say you already registered one domain ?
Just keep in mind that transfering from them can be a painstaking long drawn out process. I'm already finding threads on forums where people got the free domain and are spending days trying to get the transfer out working. You have to decide if saving $7 is worth headaches and wasted hours or days.

Now he is again selling articles here. Mods, please note and ban him before he scams more people. If you guys need proof, look up his activity, profile in detail.
