check out this tool i've just released. (bwdp.org/chat) it gives you the html code to integrate a popular IRC chatroom into your website i'm hoping people can test it out and give me suggestions as to how i can improve the tool. nearly forgot to mention... the code is xhtml compliant, which is rare for flash objects these days. and because it's irc, connecting through flash, it can handle hundreds of users per chatroom (as there already are in some rooms). check it out...
The design of the chatroom is pretty nice, is it possible to change the colors to suit the website? Also, does it take lots of bandwidth of our host just to place it n our site, or no? XHTML compliant is definitely a bonus.
i run my site on awardspace free hosting and i've nowhere near exceeded the limits so bandwidth shouldn't be a prob. if it is then u need better value hosting! the colours can't be changed, only the background color can be set and that just colours the bottom right corner. the colours are neutral though - it should fit with most sites. the default nickname can be changed, as can the default roomname and the channels in the room list - all simply by changing the flash vars.
Please give me a link to any popular "Flash Chat" chatroom. I'm curious to see if it can handle the levels of users that my chat client can.

masaa alkhair, julio. by the looks of the screenshot, there are very few users. i still have no way to see if the client handles well with hundreds of users simultaneously chatting.
