I know this could be said by other but i personally prove this effective.I submit my site in free directories at the same time particpating in do follow forums and blogs.Free of cost but really effective.
The problem is that a rebate website such as IMRebates.com don't generate many click from the search engine, though. So I came up with article submission and forum marketing. Thanks everyone for helping me. Ryan

facebook, twitter. Making that many article related your website and making that many hyperlink to your website from your article and submit it to that many article directory..
