    Matt clearly states that the post was sponsored by OneHourIndexing but he's done proper independent research. He has the data to back up his case study.
    If you read his blog you will see a number of case studies where all the info has data behind it.

    I don't ever ping my backlinks so I don't need those services... If google can't find your links on its own I see no point of getting those links.
