I heard Wordpress.com has lot of restriction, while using free blog with free domain I would suggest to keep all backup because the blog owner may delete the blog without notice. Best way to go with your own domain name with hosting yourself.

Using a free blog host for business isn't a smart move. If your business really means that much to you, you'd better be able to at least spend enough to get your own domain and hosting. Personally I wouldn't buy anything from someone online who couldn't be bothered to setup their own site over a free blog host. On top of that, if you're serious, you should maintaining full control of the information, and not putting it in someone else's hands like that - if they deem it spam, they can delete it without much notice, and you may not have any recourse.

I'm going to agree and disagree with you on this point. Yes your main site should be on your own domain on your own hosting. BUT...

Setting up lot's of SEO optimized blogs on hundreds of free blog hosts on a wide variety of IP blocks all pointing to your main sales site (that you own) works fantastic. So setting up traffic funnels on free blogs all over the place is time well spent.

Unless you want to buy hundreds of domains and get hundreds of hosting accounts to build out your SEO traffic network that is.

Blogger (BlogSpot) is the best choice for selling if you want a free blog to sell products on it.

Perhaps, but that's not what my comments were in reference to. ;) The OP clearly says he wants to use the blog as an actual sales site (meaning the business site) and not strictly for SEO purposes.
