Yeah, the site is still under construction, but proper race results for today are up now. Still a lot of work needs to be done to the style of the site and text content but the actual race results are as they shall proberbly remain. People are welcome to scrutinise the system as much as they please for free for the next month or so. Sorry mate, you should have bet him as a place. Id sugest you just monitor are predictions and actual results for a while, there are 3 systems running simultaniously, you don't just pick the top horse. I will try and explain things a bit better on the site soon.
No worries, I fancied it anyway. Sometimes I just bet on horses that I like the name of and other times I try to get all the data available.
Any one got any advise as far as an alternative to frames. Various sites have told me frames and Google don't get on. I need the menu at the far left to be seperate fromt he rest of site to save bandwidth when people click throught he menu. It's dynamic so I'v had real trouble implementing it with Java (couldn't). Are iFrames a good alternative? Thanks
Iframes are just frames, but in a box. I have never heard anything about frames creating problems with google, you're just loading multiple pages instead of one, it's all still seperate content. The pink and purle header logo is fairly harsh on the eyes.
Yeah, been having real problems with the banner. A friend is going to help me do something a bit more artistic this weekend. Got all the tools, Photoshop etc. Just no tallent.
