    Hi there,

I'm creating a video tutorial in web design.

I'm currently using camStudio but not working properly in audio and video sync

can you suggest other free screen recording software?

    Thanks!

What do you mean "not working properly"? Out of sync?
Maybe you're asking too much from your computer?

Personally, I'd spend the time trying to work out why CamStudio isn't working than trying to find something else.

A mini tripod and an iPhone/iPod/digital camera can work pretty well if you're desperate.

I know camtasia studio is not free... but it's free for 30 days :). You are not using it for commercial purposes so I doubt they'd come after you for making a single vid. Hey, if you like it enough, then buy it.

If you're using a mac, ScreenFlow is probably the best alternative. You can check it out at: telestream.net/screen-flow. On Windows Camtasia is the best.
