I was just browsing around DIGG and see what I found: http://digg.com/tech_news/Get_your_backlink_on_NASA_GOV What I wanted to ask is, is this backlink really qualitative? Will it do much good to help my Search Engine rankings? I am concerned because even though NASA is a domain with high PR and trust rank, the page on which my backlink will be isn't good for link popularity.
With NASA the sky is the limit "To the MOON" my guess is its just like any other site that you link to
http://groups.google.com/group/Google_Webmaster_Help/web/q-a-from-the-3rd-live-chat-oct-2008?pli=1 If your site has content related to the content on the NASA site, then the link should be of some benefit. Cheers James
this most definitely does not get your link on the nasa site, it will redirect because you tell it to with the url you type in.
I agree with Tattoos, Backlinks from theme related websites can be beneficial for you so if your site has contents related to NASA sites then it would effective for you, otherwise worthless. Thanks
