I need a free autoresponder to use for my new squeeze page. Any options that actually work or any solutions?
It would be better if you had a paid auto responder, but if you just don't have the money you can get List Wire it works just like a paid auto responder and the delivery rate is good. The owner sends out a OTO when people sign up and I don't like that, but it's a good free alternative. Clint
Use Aweber, $1 for the first month, so you should definitely recoup it a hundred fold....this is a huge component of an online business so don't scrimp on it
I wouldn't even think about using a free autoresponder. Waaayyy too unreliable and you can potetentially lose a ton of money starting out this way. Aweber really is the best one out there in my opinion.
Yea aweber is the way to go. People have to realize that while you can start an internet business with a small fraction of the start up costs of an offline business, you still have to spend a spot of money to get going. Nothing is free. There are ways to save money but they involve giving up time.
I personally wouldn't risk my business on something to save a few dollars a month. I use Aweber and if you have a good plan in place it should more than pay for itself before the trial is over.
Ok, I have a free autoresponder for you to try out and that is MailChimp. It's a free account, up to 2,000 subscribers and works great. You will have to pay if your list goes over 2,000 but if you have that many people on your list, you should already be making enough money to pay for what ever you need. And yes I have accounts on Aweber, GetResponse, iContanct, and Constant Contact. I also run my own MTA for my students so I keep up on autoresponders.
I've used both MailChimp and Aweber. I definitely agree that MailChimp is an excellent choice for a free autoresponder. I like Aweber better as it seems to be a little more professional but if you're just getting started or doing some email testing then MailChimp works wonders.
Thanks for the posts i really needed free one too, not everyone have money to spend on this in the very beginning :/
A free autoresponder isn't recommended in most cases but if you're not promoting to thousands of people and just have limited, controlled traffic then you should use gmail autoresponder's feature.
You don't have to have a list with 1000's of people on it to make money. To tell you the truth, the majority of my list are between 500-1000 people. You list is your asset so you want to treat it as such. The most important thing to have with your list is a "Relationship". If you plan to turn you mailing list into an asset you're going to have to develop 3 simple things with you list: Know Like Trust That's it right there. To successfully sell to your list they're going to have to "know", "like", and "trust" you first. If when you send out emails and your not getting any conversions, or sales, then you are lacking on one, or more, of those 3 areas with your list.
Personally I wouldn't risk using a free autoresponder as has already been mentioned. I personally use Aweber and it's great. Having said this, if you decide to go against all the advice given here... then you could try http://www.freeautobot.com/ If you need any further assistance or advice, just let us know. Aaron
listwire.com freeautobot.com sendfree.com mailchimp.com (Free for 0-2000 subscribers) Most of them have a catch though, usually by adding ads in the emails you send to your list
