My website is ASP based. I currently have a free, ad-containing forum from Bravenet, and it really hurts my eyes not to mention makes me look like a newbie (I am, but I don't want to look like one).

Any suggestions on ASP forums I can use for free?

    tposs,

I'm running ASP and using Web Wiz for my forum. It's been great and I have not had any problems, except that I have out grown it and will be moving my forum to Vb.

I use snitz forums for my billiard forum, and am currently in the process on upgrading with some mods and integrating the style.

The forum is free, and there is a good support community for the software as well.

    Snitz Forums: http://forum.snitz.com/
    Snits Mods: http://www.snitzbitz.com
Snitz Tracker: http://www.snitzhcd.com/stats/ (ranks the busiest sites using the software)

Drawbacks: Code can be cumbersome for editing and mod implementation - may not be the best choice if your vbscript and asp skills arent up to snuff. Also, you will need to do some heavy addons to bring the base software up to par with other PHP-based forums out there.

    Overall, im happy with it.

It isn't a hard forum to customize if you know vbscript.

Check out http://www.billiardsforum.info/forum/ which is my billiard forum. - Its built on snitz and it doesn't get much more custom than that. If you don't know vbscript very well though, you may want to stay away from snitz if you are looking to customize.
