Free Article Sites for Links

Do you think that those free article sites are a good place to get links? I wrote an article about it and I wanted to know your opinions about it. I have often thought about trying it out, but I was never really sure if I wanted to waste the time. I think it may help for links, but I could use traffic more than anything, so what do you think? Is it worth it?

I think Jon Leger has a study going on based on submitting 5 articles that suggest they work well.

 

I am curious to know if it might help. Do a lot of people still go to these sites and regularly take articles?

 

Well there is only one way to find out and that is check them out for yourself.

Check the sites ranking. If they are any good the rank should be fairly high.

Hi, I have been using article marketing for quite a while and I must say the results are phenomenal! Most of them come from EzineArticles and I have many articles in Top 10 Google. The rest are from other article directories including those you listed.

Some of them were written more than a year ago and are still driving traffic and sales for me.

It is a slow tactic but will get you great high PR backlinks for your main sites. I have a group of blogs that are now in Top 10 all with article backlinks after a couple of months.

I think its not acts as a complete back link.
But it will give as some advantages.
That I am sure.

 

If your articles are any good and have a market, (ie Popular Niche), then you should get plenty of traffic.

But if your articles are great and there is no market then you will not get a lot of traffic.

You have to keep going until you hit a hungry market which is not easy by any means.

Just keep at it and submit as many articles as possible. Just make sure that you don't submit PLR articles to article directories as they will pick them up and stop you from placing them on their sites.

If you do use PLR, (Private Label Rights), articles then you must make sure that they have been entirely rewritten in your own words.

When I first started I tired a whole bunch of article sites and discovered the only one worth the time and effort seemed to be ezinearticles.com. That is the only one I submit to any longer.

 

From this threads make me wanna invest more on articles promotion. I think i would give it a try soon. thanks for your information.

 

Yeah - I appreciate all the comments posted. I might spend some time writing a few articles and uploading them to some of those sites. I figure if I can get a few links to my site, it may help.
