Anyone try free API and have any success to catch dropped domains?
I think to try Enom API (200$ year)for my domain software but want your suggestion opinions what you think.
Or first implement free API and test?
As i know ENOM support all tlds for check while dynadot have some limits for net and com or i'm wrong

you can't beat pool/snap with the enom, dynadot,directi,key-systems apis. as you always lags behind the checking domain and sending registration and you are limited within a pc/ip/registar. they operate with bunch of different registrar with solid servers

I catch domains with a custom non-api Dynadot drop catcher - it sometimes works better & faster than Dynadot's API. Also I have much success with name.com's non API drop catcher too. Sometime's it's faster than name.com's own name nabber.

I think the secret is the expired domains drop order. There is a daily list of domains sorted by drop order at DNMeter.com.

You can view more info here about the API & Regular Pricing drop catch tools: http://www.dnmeter.com/tools.html
