    I'm using Sophos on my mac. Many say that the macs are virus-free but I'm not sure it's worth the risk.

    For using as a home user AVG provides a free edition with limted security.Its better for home purpose.Go to AVG website there you can find the trail version of AVG.

    I would recommend Avast! Home edition. It is very worthy anti-virus ever. It's very powerful and even we get a free license for personal/home use. I like it and its performance :)

    I second that! When I saw this thread I immediately wanted to come here and shout my praises for Avast. It's the best anti virus program and I love that it's free! It updates all the time and has a very thorough scan. It catches everything! Very solid program.

    antivirus should buy the original .. because if we use a free antivirus .. certainly many perangkat2 (tools) are not complete .. but if not download a lot of sites that provide free..

    Avast free antivirus is the best free antivirus software for the home use. It has many security features like web shield, mail shield, im shield, sandbox, anti spyware etc. you can download it from avast website.

    At the moment I'm using Avast. It's not the best, but at least you can get it for free, I don't exactly remember if it's only the trial version that's available for downloading.

    There are many antivirus software providers offering free versions of their antivirus. Some of them are trial and some of them are full versions. And i would recommend Avast is the best of all in the free antivirus software's.
