    Just out of curiosity, doesn't this page have few more links on it than usually recommended level. I thought the recommended number was between 50 and 100 per page.

    Hey All,

    Im not sure if was ever mentioned in the forums previously, but I found this website
    www.Best-Free-Search-Engine-List.com to be very helpful.
    It has an excel spreadsheet with a HUGE number (over 1300) of directories listed (free and otherwise) and details the ease or difficulty of submission and any costs involved.

    I found the spreadsheet great as I could sort the list for free directories, (I disregarded anything that wasnt free) and then add notes (when submitted etc) to keep track of my progress.

    Well worth a look!

    that's cool but presumably that seo friendly search tool requires links like this to really have value. Unless you have a list of most common word, most common search.
