Hey guys, Just launched a new WP Plugin which allows you to monetize your site with Amazon links. It scans your site/blog for matching keywords and then links them using your Amazon associate tag (similar to SkimWords). No coding required, just install and go. URL is http://automaticlinker.com/ Let me know what you think. It's free to download. Regards, Seb
There is a commission split on this plugin - if you use it, 25% of your sales will go to the plugin owner. @Seb I don't have a problem with this, but I do think you should be clear when you advertise it on here.
Things like that make it really easy for people who are only used to adsense to make decent money selling products.
I recall amazon used to have something similar to this where they "auto-link" your blog with links, if a wp plugin came out like that, i'd be in
The FAQ may well have covered it but you should assume most people won't read it. I've used a ton of free and premium plugins for affiliates so I have a lot to compare it against. I'll take a look at it and post my thoughts later.
I like that it uses a dictionary file where you can add additional keywords and associated products. Requires libcurl to be enabled to function .. just an FYI. Caching is built in so that's nice. The tag rotation in the code is as he claims. The only thing similar I've used/seen is affiliately (http://www.affiliate.ly/) which has the added bonus of adding a bar at the top of external pages with affiliate offers (but rotates their ID in 30% of the time). I'd say this plugin is solid and worth a shot; however, it would be nice if it had the option to only replace keywords in posts older than a certain number of days or for registered users of your site.
