For those of you who don't know what a Cool Wall is go watch this video.

I have just created an AJAX powered version that can be used for a whole heap of applications on your website. Mine shows mobile phones at the minute.

Anyway, try it out at http://www.mad4mobilephones.com/coolwall/ and download the script here if you are interested.

    Suggested applications:
    Cool Wall for cars
Directory of cool sites (links are seo friendly)
    Celebrities
    Cool bloggers
    Contests (the coolest person wins)
Show the best products on your site

Post your Cool Wall in this thread if you have used it.

It looks pretty good. That's a pretty handy script for maybe a Forum Poll System or something, where you have to drag the items in Order of importance.

I think a fantastic use for it would be logo and design contests.

Hey - could this be used for a photo / image hot-or-not type site?

Thanks for the script - adding green!

I like this script but have a recommendation to make it more usable. Add an IP tracker so users couldn't inflate results. They shouldn't be able to continuously manipulate results. Using a Cookie tracker isn't enough IMO.

Do you have phpmyadmin installed on your server? Do you have any databases already running?
