I was curious to know how completely free adult video sites keep up with costs of running their websites. I am not a newbie when it comes to being a webmaster yet the costs of giving away free content is huge!! Thousands of gigs of bandwidth can be used up within days. I do understand various affiliate programs can be used especially CPM, CPC and even video ads now but are these types of sites really profitable when it comes down to it?
Yes,the CPM cost does not enough to cover the server cost...but at least it can help you decrease your budget per month
If the CPM wont cover it I wonder how they stay in business or for what purpose.. As it doesn't seem to make sense to me why they would keep the site if its not making any money
My guess is that they make money from advertisements. Those types of sites do have a lot of traffic since the content is free.
Yea lots of traffic equals tons of bandwidth usage as well especially since its all free videos take up alot of bandwidth
It`s just like other business....first months you don`t make any profit and you take off some money from your pocket after that if you`re a good seo the business with video domains starts to grow.You make make even from ads....just like the porn-tubes from today.The profit is huge but in the first months it`s a little bit expensive.
