    Yes they earn money or I wouldn't waste my time building them. We have number of these sites setup ourselves and we do pretty well with them. The fact that there are two revenue sources is very helpful. Now obviously those who are taking advantge of this are only getting one revenue source, but they are also getting a free revenue source so I'd say it's fair.

    One other thing I forgot to mention and it was brought to my attention that I should make it clear. That I will in no way jeopardize any of your AdSense accounts by promoting these sites in anyway that is against Google TOS. I have many of these sites out there as well with our own AdSense ID and I wouldn't want to lose our account either. I am gonna leave the promotion up to most of you, except for some initial social bookmarking which is perfectly fine with Google.
