I've put together a template for a single-page AdSense site. Free to download (no signup required) and few restrictions on what you can do with it (no selling of it). No, you don't need to link back to my site either. Complete instructions are on the page and in the (extensively commented) HTML.

So, you're giving another tool for the MFA users...

No, not as long as you have legitimate content on the page. It's better, of course, to build a site with more than one page. But if you're testing things out, or you're doing some arbitrage, a one-pager is a good place to start.

There is nothing deceptive on this template, not like other pages I've seen. There's one ad block right under the main heading and one right after the content. Very simple HTML with CSS, no tables involved.

I'll probably put up a template for a multi-page site soon, too.

What CTR does this one give you Eric?
I would put an Adsense search form on the bottom, works for me pretty good.

Just because someone designs a high CTR layout doesn't mean that is has to be filled with crap content. And if it doesn't have crap content then is it really a MFA or is it just good content serving a purpose of sharing information and making a bit of money while doing.

I think the big difference between a MFA and good AdSense optimization is what is on the page. I think Eric's template is a great example of a layout that has a solid integration of a large rectangle but is extremely simple and can be complemented by great content. There is no crime here.

The CTR depends entirely on the content. Yes, you can place a search box at the bottom, too, it looks good and works reasonably well for me, too.
