Free Adsense Review - for those who need help with placement

Great work and nice traffic for a site younger than 1 year. 5% click through rate is very good. I always try to keep it under 3% because I heard Google may manually review your site when the click through gets too high. I mean that may not be the only reason, but possible. Have you heard anything like that?

 

I've read it yes, but it is written by people like you and me, with no official source at all, so there's no need to give them any credit. And even if a high CTR might trigger a manual review by google, what do you have to fear? If you feel you have something to fear from a manual review then it would be better to remove whatever causes you to believe you might get into trouble if adsense finds out. I'm not saying it's your case, I'm just saying in general, we shouldn't care about how high our CTR is, as long as we have nothing against adsense's tos.

Good point. Then maybe I should put the maximum ads on my site since they offer 3 ad units and 3 link units.

 

Try to work on your traffic first. I will review it when you have at least 100 uniques a day.

If you will get ban for 728*15, why would Google have this ad unit in the first place and why would there are be so many wordpress theme optimize for adsense utilizing this kind of menu ad?

Its a niche job board, the biggest of its kind. I get around 400 uniques a day, growing rapidly. I became google no1 some days ago. A lot of traffic (about 60 % comes from google searches) rest are links, direct hits, and so on.

Visitors have about 4,5 page views on average and stay nearly 4 min on my site. I have no ads on mainpage atm, but two in each job posting.
