    I added 10 urls so far are you accepting replicator sites ? some do some don't if so it would be a good addition to your directory I think by allowing replicator sites list their" it will increase your online presence" just a thought let me no if you do or dont

    You want to start a full fledged search service, or are you servicing a niche?

    DO you think people will come in to search for stuff from ur site instead of Google?

    Does it have a better algorithm?

    What does it search for best?

    Is it a going to be a vertical SE?

    What is your value proposition? Why would people come visit your search engine?

    You asked for Ideas and feedbacks. I just wanted these answered TO yourself first.
    I didn't see anything better.

    Will it be better than A google custom search engine?
